These Terms govern your use of Dersoma, operated by Dersoma, MB (JAR 307658420), Vilties g. 16A, LT-58386 Dotnuva, Lithuania. Contact: supportdersoma@gmail.com. By using the app you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and (if you subscribe) our Subscription and Billing Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Service Scope

Dersoma provides AI-assisted educational skin insights and tracking features. It is not a medical device and does not replace professional medical care. See the Medical Disclaimer.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country, if higher) and able to accept these Terms. Parental consent is required where local law demands it for minors.

3. User Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information where requested.
  • Do not misuse, reverse engineer, or abuse the app or APIs.
  • Do not upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.
  • Before analysis, you must accept these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and (where shown) explicit consent for health-related data processing.
  • If you use Share, you control who receives the link. Shared views omit photos but may show educational text and questionnaire-derived fields.
  • Personal use only. One subscription is for one natural person. Do not share your login, password, or session with others. Family or clinic use requires separate accounts (or a future team plan if we offer one).

4. Medical Limitation

Dersoma does not diagnose, treat, or provide emergency care. Outputs are AI-generated and may be wrong. For urgent symptoms, contact emergency services or a licensed clinician immediately.

5. Third-Party Services

The service depends on providers listed in the Privacy Policy (hosting, database, storage, payments, AI, email, maps, weather). If you do not accept an essential provider's role, do not use the feature that requires it (e.g. do not subscribe if you do not accept Stripe).

6. Subscriptions and Payments

Paid plans are governed by the Subscription and Billing Terms. Prices and renewal rules shown at Stripe checkout prevail over marketing copy if they differ.

7. Optional Sharing of Results

Share creates a time-limited read-only snapshot (see Privacy Policy). You are responsible for whom you send the link to.

8. Intellectual Property

The app, design, and software belong to Dersoma or its licensors. You receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence for personal use. You retain rights in your own photos; you grant us a licence to process them solely to provide the service you request.

9. Fair Use and Account Sharing

Premium AI analyses (full reports and weekly check-ins) are subject to per-account limits described in the Subscription and Billing Terms (currently up to 3 per UTC day and 30 per UTC calendar month, combined). Limits protect service quality and costs; they are not a promise of unlimited AI use.

We may monitor usage patterns (e.g. many devices, regions, or parallel sessions) to detect account sharing or abuse. Sharing one paid login among multiple people is prohibited and may lead to throttling, suspension, or termination without refund where law permits.

10. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for serious misuse (including account sharing), legal obligations, or security reasons. You may stop using the service at any time and may delete your account in Settings when permitted.

11. Disclaimers and Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" without guarantees of uninterrupted operation or medical outcome. Nothing excludes liability where exclusion is prohibited (including mandatory consumer rights).

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date. Continued use after publication may constitute acceptance where law allows; for subscription changes we follow applicable notice rules.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

If you are a consumer in the EEA, you keep mandatory protections of your country of residence. Otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania; courts in Vilnius have jurisdiction where mandatory law permits.

EU consumers may use the European Commission Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obliged to use alternative dispute resolution bodies unless required by law.
